Last week I talked about the Command Dial. We learned that you use it to control four things.
Well, this week we are going to learn about one of those things. And that is changing the flash mode.
You might have noticed a button on the side of your DSLR that looks like this:
This is your flash button.
Also, my Nikon has a self-timer button below it.
To change your flash, press and hold your flash button.
Look on your screen and you will see a highlighted feature that looks just like the flash button.
When you move your command dial, you will notice that they change.
Your flash modes can vary between Auto, Reducing Red Eye, Slow, Rear or Off. The flash mode options will be different depending on the setting (Manual, Sport, Portrait, etc.) that you are shooting in.
Come by next week to see my next What Is It!
